Island Ist lies in the northwestern part of the Zadar archipelago in the inner band. From the neighboring islands of Molat Zapuntel strait separates it.

An island formed by two hilly parts of bays Kosirača and Široké uvala between them. This is where there is the only settlement on the island - a summer resort Ist.

On the highest peak - Straža (174 m), which offers a beautiful view, there is a small church.

The southern coast of the island is pretty steep. Bay Široké but it offers a beautiful pebble beach with a pleasant swimming and a small marina.
